I love farmer’s markets. There’s something so magical about people coming together selling their homegrown produce, handmade breads, and beautiful plants. People take their time here. There’s no NYC fast stepping through this meandering flow. There’s usually some wonderful music playing– on the Sunday Hollywood market there’s a handful of fantastic musicians.. and a few crazy ones.
The great thing about the market is its size– endlessly spanning chunks of blocks in 4 directions, so the sounds and smells don’t compete over each other, instead they seamlessly blend into an endless input for the senses.
