Here’s a delicious inspiration board I’ve built and collected for a start-up fashion label that needs a logo. I needed to cast an extremely wide net for them, as they really do not have a strong sense of the conceptual or visual direction they’d like to explore.
In cases like these, it’s always best to provide the client with a ton of options, and casually let them sift through it all. Without pressure, they’ll (ideally) find the process a bit easier, and it should become clear, with their feedback, which direction to take.
While fashion may be a relatively straight forward aesthetic path, it’s how the client wants to approach the industry standards that will make this project an interesting one. I am super interested in hearing her thoughts and reactions to all the samples in the folder I sent her, but I pulled my favorites for this board. I love all the subtle variations you can explore when working with a fashion brand. It’s artful, high-end, exclusive, modern, and it’s a really fun mix and I am looking ridiculously forward to diving in and playing in that world.
